Recently, Hog Roast Burntcommon was contacted by Jennifer and Sam to prepare for their summer wedding. The couple had gotten engaged in the summer of 2021 and wanted to get married in the summer of 2022, after a year-long engagement. This gave them a short amount of time to plan the ceremony and reception, which meant that every second of the planning process was vital! Once the couple had created their guest-list, the next stage was finding a venue and booking the catering. Moving forward, it was important to get the catering booked in as soon as possible, to ensure that the date was secured. This is where Hog Roast Burntcommon came in! We were asked to provide our delicious wedding catering, in the form of our formal dining package.

This menu contains a delicious main starter, with our homemade soup of the day always being a popular choice. This option is served with fresh bread rolls and butter, which can be enjoyed by everyone.

Hog Roast BurntcommonFollowing on from this is a classic Hog Roast Burntcommon main course, consisting of a slow-roasted hog and all of the trimmings. This includes sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, seasonal salad dishes, homemade applesauce, and homemade chips. This is always a classic choice and is such a delicious main course!

For the dessert, the guests can enjoy a slice of your wedding cake, as well as several other options- depending on your preference.
