Freya and her Sam have been dating since they were teenagers and have gotten engaged now that they are both 25. For their family and friends, they have been waiting for this proposal for what feels like years, so the couple are eager to do something special to share the news. This November, they are hosting an engagement party at their home in Surrey, which will be the perfect way to celebrate the great news. Hog Roast Seale is catering for the occasion with one of our delicious buffet menus, and our catering manager Shaun is eager to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Seale team arrived at the private venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 7:00pm serving time. We started our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Additionally, we prepared BBQ-pulled jackfruit for several meat-free guests. Once it was time to enjoy the menu, we served our main dishes with fresh bread rolls, sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, the guests could enjoy fresh-cooked chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. This was a great menu for the guests and was the perfect way to turn a party at home into a well-rounded event.
