A Retirement Party Hog Roast Tongham Event

We can also make a whole host of canapés, starters, sides and desserts or create a feast with one of our special standalone menus, like our Loaded Fries or Southern Slow Roast, and our chefs can whip up tasty suitable dishes for those guests on special diets, like veggie skewers or dairy-free mac and cheese. We can even make our famous pigs in buns suitable for gluten-free guests, simply by bringing along suitable bread rolls (as all the other ingredients are already suitable). Sometimes, however, one of our simple menus is just the ticket. Hog Roast Tongham was asked to cater Julian’s retirement party recently, where one of our gorgeous hog roasts sizzled away slowly but surely for hours on end, producing soft, tender, moist meat and crispy, salty crackling, which we then crammed into fresh, soft bread rolls and wraps in order to make our pigs in buns, and which we topped off with our own recipe stuffing and apple sauce. By the end of the evening, the hog had been stripped clean and any meat that was left, Julian had commandeered for himself and his wife to enjoy the very next day!
