Earlier this October, Hog Roast Surrey catered for a beautiful wedding reception at a cosy function room in Surrey. The theme of the wedding reception was very autumnal, complete with an orange, red, and brown colour palette, lots of beautiful seasonal flowers, and a roaring fire in the dining room.

On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Surrey team arrived at the venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 6:00pm serving time. We began our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once ready, the pork was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which was a tasty alternative to pork. For the side dishes, we served homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, our catering was a great addition to the event and went down a treat with the guests. The Hog Roast Surrey team was incredibly grateful to be a part of this reception and we are glad that the happy couple had a wonderful wedding day!
